Brand Story
OrSlow - Or (go) Slow
Instead of keeping up with today's speed of time (reflected in trends, digitization, and mass-production), the brand suggests "or (go) slow".
OrSlow spends enough time to examine details in producing items that can be worn at any history of time and are simple yet attaching.
Different types of clothing emerged as standards in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Among others, military wear and clothes that have their roots in work have also been cherished as fashionable wear.
Deriving inspiration from those eternal standards and processing them through our own filters, we design clothes “slowly.”
Here the term “slowly” means:
・Crafting original clothes carefully.
・Creating clothes that are adaptable to different styles of different times.
・Presenting the antithesis of a fast-moving modern society and fashion industry and slowing it down.
Designed by Ichiro Nakasu, and making clothing slowly (taking enough time to carefully examine the details).
OrSlow is making clothes that can be worn at any ages and at any time of history.
OrSlow is making clothes that are simple yet attaching.
