ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN is a family owned company, founded in 2009 by Cathrine Lundgren-Andersen and Peter Kjær-Andersen.

It all started with the idea of reinterpreting a classic Danish sailor sweater.

Inspired by Denmark’s rich maritime history, and rooted in Danish design traditions,

their sweaters embody functionality, longevity and craftsmanship.

All garments are knitted and linked at a small family-run knitting mill in northern Italy.

AA's signature yarn is made from worsted, extra spun 100% merino wool.

All wool is certified mulesing-free and sourced from Uruguay and Patagonia.

The reactive dyeing process meets the highest European standards of its kind.

The natural colour wool is a carefully selected, un-dyed merino wool from Portugal.

The long fibre wool makes the yarn extra durable.

It’s simply sheared, washed and spun.

The result is an authentic, naturally coloured garment.

AA's indigo dyed merino wool, is coloured with natural indigo leaves from France and India.

The wool is dyed using the only Woolmark-approved natural colouration technology available.

The dying recipe contains no chemical additives or synthetic colours.
