Jeans made in a Turkish redcast selvage denim that replicates an original worn-in pair of Nudie Jeans. The man behind the original of the Jonte Replica is, of course, non-other than Jonte, short for Jon-Ivar. Product Developer on all things denim. Hence one of the key persons behind any pair of Nudie Jeans that has been produced for a period of well over 10 years. It is safe to say that he has had his fair share of dry denim and has a repertoire of worn-in jeans that is seconds to none. The original behind these do, however, have a rather special story. They were worn between 2009 and 2012, do to their looks they were exhibited at some point during 2012 only to disappear for 6 years. In 2018 they resurfaced in Germany and were identified by a small signature on the pocket bag by one of the sales representatives. When they were back in Jonte's possession it didn't take long before they caught the attention of the design team, again. So being the nice guy that Jonte is he once again agreed to lend them out for a greater good. This time to the best Italian laundry, which is responsible for the incredible work of the replication. Now, here they are, Jonte's lost and found jeans. Carefully replicated in detail and just as beautiful as the original.
