Pike Brothers 1908 Miner Pant Japanese Denim Indigo 19oz
The first jeans or Overalls as they were called were introduced around 1860 for workers in the Western gold mines. Especially at the turn of the century there were many little work wear manufacturers which produced trousers and tops for gold miners in the West of the U.S.A. All had one thing in common: a very hard wearing product.
The 1908 Miner Pant is based on a typical gold miner pant from that year. Hence the name. The 1908 Miner Pant has typical features that were often found on these kind of garments: doubled knees, single rear pocket, hammer loop and suspender buttons.
