The first jeans was developed at the turn of the century once for the workers in the gold mines. Pike Brothers 1908er Miner Pant based on such an olden pant and featuring the typical details as reinforced knees, one large back pocket, hammerloop and the suspender buttons. For the Miner collection Pike Brothers wanted to revive the hemp denim, which have already been used at the turn of the century. It is a denim with an extraordinary character and as a start the hemp should be tamed before wearing.
