The two designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Moriand launched and wander in 2011 after previously working together as designers at ISSEY MIYAKE. The brand was born from a strong passion: The two founders wanted to make “fashion in the nature / mountains just as enjoyable as the everyday fashion”.
They have been pursuing to offer sophisticated items by blending high-fashion style and outdoor clothing to simultaneously stimulate the consumers’ aesthetic sensibilities while providing functionality and practicality.
Since they understand the pleasure of hiking in the mountains from their own experience, and wander items are made with durable, light-weight materials with water-resistance and wind protection. The unique coloring is carefully chosen to harmonize with nature, yet giving fresh impressions.
