The 22oz Heavyweight Big Slub Selvedge is the newest entry into the Unbranded family. This jean is made from an extra-heavyweight indigo selvedge denim, using big slub yarns and slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms. This gives this denim a bumpy and uneven surface texture. The irregular shape of the yarn prevents the indigo dye from saturating the yarn uniformly, which produces areas of high and low indigo concentration in the denim. Over time these areas will fade at different rates giving the fabric more depth and character. The denim has also been sanforized so it won’t shrink when wash it. Other details include the signature blue ear selvedge ID and pull up leather patch, along with hidden back pocket rivets and button fly.
